Hi all, I've been watching the development of this drug like a hawk since I first found out about it around a year ago. Its been under re-examination by the EMEA for ~1 year now and rumour has it that they are very close to approving it. See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Agomelatine for a rough overview.
I'm starting this topic to see if anyone out there has any new information on Agomelatine. I would really like to hear from you if you have tried the drug in a clinical trial.
What was your opinion of the drug for depression or anxiety? How does it compare to current SSRI or Tricyclic antidepressants? Where there any side effects to speak of? Im sure a lot of people really want to know if there are any sexual side effects with it (it has none apparently)?
I would also like to hear from you if you have any information on how close this drug is approval in EU or USA.Hope to hear from some of you soon!
