I took Cymbalta 60 mg for 4 months. I was given it for 2 reasons. chronic nerve pain and depression with lethargy and anxiety. I did ok on it and my energy level went way up but the daily anxiety level I felt wasn't helped as much as my dr hoped so I was changed to Wellbutrin. I have always had Xanax with me for anxiety and have taken it even when I was not on antidepressants but on the Wellbutrin I find myself taking less and less Xanax for the breakthrough anxiety and I feel like I am finally getting my life back on track. My energy level is up, anxiety down and no sexual problems that many have from other med. The only side effect i have to deal with daily is the insomnia. But after the way my life was b/f Wellbutrin and Cymbalta, I will gladly deal with the insomnia to have ME back.
