I think the effects of stimulants at calming hyperactive children is misunderstood. I could be very wrong on this, but everyone i've talked to that takes stimulants for ADHD says they are indeed stimulating. I believe hyperactive children seemingly calmed from stimulants is due to a newfound ability to focus. Anyone else have thoughts on this?
