You have to be off of the other types of antidepressants for two weeks before you can start an MAOI like Parnate. That is the only negative other than the food restrictions. I especially miss once in awhile having a beer with pizza. Yes I eat pizza if it only has mozarella cheese as that is not an aged cheese which is a no no on an MAOI.
