Q. for experts (adding wellbutrin or buspirone?)

Posted by x-tof on May 31, 2008, at 8:53:11

I have CFS and spasmophilia.Besides the fatigue, I mainly suffer from anxiety and moodswings, with lack of initiative. The only thing that works well for me is Lorazepam, but I'm not keen on benzodiazepines on the long term.SSRI's definately aren't my choice, I had bad experiences with them (made me more depressed) and the opposite of them (tianeptine), wasn't my answer either.TCA's are helping me for my sleeping problems (Amytriptiline 25mg).
I recently started Amisulpiride 50mg and I have mixed feelings about it. Sometimes I really feel it uplifts my mood and reduces anxiety, it can also make me very irritable and tired with aggravation of my spastic colon (which actually should be good against it..).
So I would like to add something to give the amisulpiride a help.I also take L-theanine (2x100mg/day) but don't notice much of that.
I was thinking of Wellbutrin or Buspirone, both in low dose.
Which one would you recommend?Or perhaps another idea?
Many thanks!
