Hi 5f.

I am better, yes. The dizzy spells have gotten better and the diarrhea and nausea have gone away. I went to my doc at the urgent care clinic and thought maybe I had had some kind of stomach virus and gotten dehydrated - thus causing the extreme low BP spells and nausea and waking up too early.

Nardil is working for me but I am having troubles. I feel absolutely great in the mornings but then I get scared and have to take benzos. They help for a little while but wear off quickly so I have to take some more. I think the benzos are contributing to the depression I am now feeling every afternoon. I wish the scaredness would go away and I wouldn't have to take benzos at all. The whole issue of benzos of what to take and how much and when is too much for me to deal with.

Trazdone does more than help me sleep. It keeps me from waking up with a jolt of fear in my stomach. That was a fortunate side effect I wasn't expecting.

I am very blessed to have a pdoc who actually cares. I wish you had one who provided more care for you - sounds like you're not exactly thrilled with the one you have.

But yes, I am through the crisis. When the Nardil is working, I feel normal and good and not depressed and energetic and motivated. If I didn't have to take benzos on top of it, I think I'd feel a lot better. But when you have endogenous scaredness, benzos are the only option I know of.

Hope you feel better soon.

Marsha
