The side-effects are likely to change over the next few weeks, so I'd stick with it for now and see how it develops.
Do you really feel sleep-deprived or just /worry/ that you should be sleep-deprived because you sleep less hours than usual?
Btw, I sometimes get these awakenings from sertraline too, but my sleep schedule is odd anyway, and interrupted sleep gives me vivid dreams :)
