I would definitely put Effexor in the "non dulling" category...! In fact, as my pdoc was titrating me up to a working dose for me, I used to get a lots of anxiety even with little 37.5mg jumps.

Now I'm on 600mg / day & I don't get anxiety with it. Albeit I am also on 225mg mirtazapine which "is" supposed to be a bit dulling - but mainly at the low end doses like 15mg, etc.
