would MSG disrupt Lamictal or memantine?

Posted by iforgotmypassword on December 31, 2007, at 19:20:33

just wondering. i know MSG is a very suspicious chemical. and theoretically eating it goes against my current strategy with the meds i take, i guess?

apparently MSG causes a spike in glutamate in the blood? the industry claim is that this does nothing, or is very short lived, or whatever, but i'm guessing that is very suspect... ???

ugh. it's hard to avoid. MSG or autolysed yeast or whatever seems to be in so much. and i am pretty low functioning, so i stick to eating things like instant chinese noodles frequently.

not the best plan i guess? or does it not really matter...

currently i am at 150mg lamotrigine (lamictal) and 5mg memantine.

sorry if this is a mess of a post.
