My father had Alzheimers and his doctor gave me the best short description of the difference between normal forgetfulness and Alzheimers.
"Forgetting where you put the car keys is normal.
Forgetting what car keys are used for is Alzheimers."-------
> Seriously I put a Christmas Card in my neighbors door today and I asked my husband if he had one for that neighbor too. I'd forgotten I did it a few hours ago. I'm always forgetting things. Right now there is what to do Christmas , surgery, money, doing the ebay, kids no telling me what's going on in their lives. Grandson has a serious problem no one will tell me what happened, new pdoc cancelled till March so only the old one, say something to my husband and forget. Does stress do this or is it Alzhiemers? How would I know the difference. MRI of head about 6 years ago showed normal for age. Thanks Phillipa
