I am a female who has been struggling with Anxiety for the last couple years and depression (on and off) for my whole life. Recently, I have been put on many medications for this. Straterra actually helped both my depression and anxiety but my insurance co. stopped paying for it. I have since tried several ssri's and Rem(?) all of which made me gain weight - which I can't tolerate. Effexor was the best at treating my symptoms but I gained 7 pounds in 2 months (I am a marathon runner so that was big). I am now on Wellbutrin XL 300 mg/day. I want so much for this drug to work but it seems like I have worsened in regard to my symptoms. I am so negative, crying, feeling like my marriage is falling apart. I don't know how much of this is the drug or just me. I have been on about 1.5 months with an increase in dosage from 100 - 300 only about 10 days ago. Anyone else had similar experiences?
