That is what he is suggesting, yes. Depression
underlaid by fatigue and malaise. He does not
cite it, but there is literature now suggesting
prostanoid excess as one of the problems in
major depression; i.e. a potential indication for
NSAIDS like aspirin and ibuprofen. I would not
expect them to be a complete treatment, but
they might help some people.
