I'm with you on this. I don't have trouble with withdrawal; not even Effexor or Remeron. It's the being on them that gives me nothing but trouble. I can only tolerate a tiny bit of Paxil (like, 2.5 mgs). Zoloft (my first too) was nice for a while, but it felt almost like a short acting street drug, in that I'd take it, brain would feel short circuited for like an hour or so, then I'd feel really good for about 3 or 4 hours, then I'd crash. The 3 or 4 hours were fun to be sure, but the daily roller coaster ultimately was not a good thing. I've tried a slew of them since then; practically all with bad effects.

Still, I'll give Luvox a try. I liked the idea of trying Ultram too (did a bit of research on that). You'd have to have a pdoc that really pushed the envelope to let you try Ultram for depression though (and then only after you've tried pretty much every other med class out there).
