Taurine is actualy the least active thing in these drinks, although touted otherwise.

Taurine is a non essential amino acid,so although it does enter the brain, basicaly its a natural substance,an amino acid, which is simply a part of a protein.

In simple terms,no i cant imagine taurine being a concern in any case,as its a natural substance, which the body will just rid of in excess.

Taurine is an inhbitatory amino, however its actualy most used or thought to be useful in cardio heart problems.

Caffiene, pounds of sugar, ginko and loads of active b vitamins are what makes theese drinks so stimulantive, all taruine is thought to do is present a calming effect as well, same idea as a redbull and acholol drink.

I would not be concerned personaly with taurine use at all.
