From what I read of other peoples experiences with lamictal and depression, 100-200 mgs is a common dose range. My experience is that lamictal started having an antidepressant effect at 25-50 mgs and did continue past 200 mgs.

My pdoc confirmed exactly what you wrote. Anything above 200mg for patients with bipolar or depression/rapid cyclers doesn't do more and hasn't been proven to be more effective.
