Cheryl, I've dealt with drug resistent depression for most of my depression and the one thing that has been difficult for me is that when a drug is found and remission comes it tends to stay only for a short time. Then one or two of the drugs pop out. With a drug treatment resistent individual the key is to have an aggressive consistent good pdoc that stays on top of things and what helps me as well is to keep a daily journal and a mood chart.
