Thanks mate!
I was running out of Nardil at the weekend so had to drop my dose from 75mg to 30mg to make them last. I'll tell you I noticed the depression and anxiety returning.
This has happened to me. It seems I can't go below 60mg- If I do symptoms return real quick. Although i was on 45mg for a while when I was staying with my family- and everything seemed cool. Maybe being around my family (and eating well for once, living properly!) negated the relapse???
So the idea of dropping the dose after a while as proposed by a Dr isn't a good idea for me.I havent seen any evidence that lowering Nardil after experience success at a particular dose sustains efficacy...proceed with caution!!
You're still on 90 so presumably you haven't dropped your dose.
After coming back to Sydney (was with my folks for some time) It didn't take long for the dready fear and depression to come back- so i wacked it up to 90mg...within 24 hours I noticed a difference!
I think the Dr overlooked the GABA effect of Nardil.Actually most have no idea about Nardil's affinity for GABA!

I'm not convinced it does anything though. My problems are still some phobic avoidance (perhaps a habit I need to force myself to break),
I doubt it is a 'habit'. I wish these illnesses were habits. Tried a benzo?
weight gain (large stomach)
hmmmm....there is antidotes for this....can't remember right now...maybe put out a new thread???
Topomax- I believe that helps? Thankfully (after a few years) my weight gain from nardil went....
and zero sex
Number of agents to try. Once again this took years to alleviate in me. I remember having some girls already for some action...and I couldn't 'come' to the party, he he!
