Hey I have chronic lymes disease and was given rocephin IV for 5 days in the hospital through a pic line then Biaxin xl for three months at a time for three years. Now the controversy is that you shouldn't treat chronic lymes for more than a month with doxycyclline. Used to be a website I subscribed to for lymes the lady died so I don't get updates anymore. I"ve had an MRI and MS was ruled out that was of the brain. But CFS was suggested by a rheumatologist. I do have an elevated ANA have for many years before the lymes was found. Don't know how long I had it til it was found but myesthenia gravis? Haven't heard mention of that one . Love Phillipa ps I don't understand the technical stuff but I know of IGM . Love Phillipa ps also two spinal fluid taps all negative as was the MRI of the brain.
