Sorry about your brother and your situation.
I have been depressed forever, but it seems like I only developed extreme anxiety after a brief trial of Neurontin. I know it is an unrelated drug to SSRIs, but it is weird how everyone is different.
It has been about 2 months, and my anxiety has improved somewhat. I think it helped when I started taking the long-acting xanax (in case you aren't already). And then I have the short-acting ones on hand for emergencies.
