Four to six weeks is the usual length it takes to see improvement on SSRIs, but it usually takes at least six weeks at a therapeutic dose to feel the full benefits. If you've raised the dose at all in the time you've been on it, it's likely to take a little longer for you to feel its full impact.

The fact that you are feeling better, though, is a very good sign. It's likely that you'll continue to respond over the next few weeks, and maybe even drop the Zyprexa entirely. On the other hand, you might want to continue the Zyprexa, because it is a very effective anti-anxiety agent.

So, good news and bad, I guess: the good news is that you're feeling better and are likely to continue to feel even better. The bad news is that it may take a couple more weeks until you feel the full benefit.

Still, isn't it nice to be feeling better? I'm glad it's helping for you.
