How sad. Mental breakdowns are terrible.
I am glad you posted this-- I agree that
the dx is hard in psychotic episode - i think
the drug if working may prove what it is more or
less. I also agree that if the person is getting
sick from the drugs they should be give a chance to
switch or stop for a while, or reduce the dose...
BUT only under supervision. And i think that supervision is not generously provided in mental health care-- it's expensive and time-consuming.
