> I am baffled that you are sleeping so much on Emsam bec it has a "stimulating effect" in the majority of ppl. However, this is further proof that every med affects everyone differently.
>Hi Michael!
I have been on stims for awhile so by comparison EMSAM is just a tickle when it comes to being stimulating. I am sleeping now on average 9 hrs. But it is good sleep and I feel rested when I awaken. If I had to get up for work or what have you I could probably do fine on less. Emsam is definately stimulating just not to the degree I am accustom to.My Dr. scratches his head too when it comes to my responses to meds.
> Then again, the X factor is other meds you may be taking with Emsam. Are you taking anything else? I just have to believe Emsam alone will cause you to be more "stimulated" throughout the day.
>I take 10 mg ambien (have taken for almost 2 years) and just started the Namenda. Thats it.
> No side effects? Not surprised, neither did I, well except for insomnia first few weeks.

> Overlapping patches? Interesting experiment. I say go up to the 9mg patch on next order.I quit doing this. I'm just sticking with the 6mg for a while per Dr's instructions.
