Also it annoys me when people say well if an AD doesn't work you just must need a higher dose. Some us of get more and more depressed the higher dose we try and/or unbearable side effects. And the people who are lucky enough to respond to AD's say well, it's your own fault you didn't get better, you weren't willing to put up with side effects long enough or try a high enough dose. I'm not talking about trivial side effects like reduced libido, big deal. I'm talking eye pain so severe you feel like you're going blind, or not being able to sleep for a week or not being being able to get out of the bathroom for a week unless you want to wear Depends and carry an emesis basis around with you.
