Experiences of Neurontin differ drastically: 100 mg for some can be highly sedating; I was taking 2700 mg, which calmed me down but made me a little drunk. It's an anti-convulsive mood stabilizer that is good for anxiety, so doesn't need to be taken with anything else. I can't imagine taking a benzo with it. Those dealing with depression would need an anti-d. It's seen to be a very neutral, or clean, drug, regarding side effects.--Johann
