I guess they were trying to market Neurontin as a mood stabilizer for Bipolar, but "discovered" along the way that it didn't work. Yes, I'd have to agree with you. It really is a pretty useless med in all ways. Although, it is supposedly great for nerve pain. I have a bit of nerve damage on the left side of theback of my neck, and I have to admit that it didn't bother me as much while on the Neurontin. But as for a psych med......thumbs down.
