Parnate tolerance, anyone?

Posted by halcyondaze on February 20, 2007, at 16:02:01

One of my biggest fears in taking Parnate is that I will develop a tolerance to it. I am currently taking 120 mg/day but how long will I be stable? I am not used to being stable and I'm afraid that it will end.

For those of you who have taken Parnate, did you ever develop a tolerance? What was your solution? I know I can always raise the dose but I'm already at a high dose and don't know how far I can push it - is this designed to be a "forever" medication? I haven't heard much from people who have been on the same dose for long periods of time.

I wish there was more research out there on MAOIs.
