I have manic-depression, and lithium has served me well. You do gain weight on it, but not as much as on other stabilizers, and with the benzos, the weight goes up even more.

Parnate - that's an MAOI- right? Perhaps younger people with a low blood pressure may not be as much at risk as people in their 50s.
