Why not at least call the vet's office? They can give you the scoop on whether or not Parnate might cause problems, and whether or not to bring them in.

I know this is going to sound trite given the circumstances, but: have you ever tried those "Pill Pocket" snacks for giving cats pills? I can't stand yanking their mouths open and shoving the pills in there, so I insert the pills in these pocket snacks and the cats wolf 'em right down. You vet probably has whatever brand is available around there, or can tell you where to get some.

I took the time to tell you this because if you do have to medicate them for the Parnate, you at least won't have the hassle of forcing the pills in their mouths to worry about.

Good luck with your friends,
Reggie BoStar
