I use low dose Triazolam for sleep. It is very effective and has the advantage that it does not make me dopey the next morning. I suggested it to my pdoc because I had noticed that it has a shorter half-life than alprazolam, which I had been taking to get to sleep. My pdoc agreed to let me try it, but he also warned me that there were a lot of stories about people who had problems with triazolam. So far I have not had problems, but, as always, YMMV.
