I've been on Remeron for about 6 months now and it just didn't do much for me at all, so I am currently tapering off it. The first week or so you take it, you will be very tired. It didn't sedate my anxiety, though. It just made me groggy in that foggy antihistamine way. Also makes me really hungry right after I take it. No sexual side effects. Give it a try, but you have to stick with it to get over the grogginess. After that, then you will see if it is worth your while.

> Got a very bad case of emotional numbness and anhedonia with anxiety as well. Taking wellbutrin 300 mg/day, thinking of adding remeron. Can anyone tell me about how remeron feels, especially in comparison with ssris? Ever since I took prozac my emotions, particularly pleasure, are seriously flattened. Needless to say I'd like to stay clear of anything numbing like ssris. Thanks for the help.
