Parnate: Made me feel more depressed at low doses (30mg) so I raised the dose myself as high as 120mg and at those levels (80-120mg) it seemed to act as a euphoric stimulant, like coke or meth. I was also taking it with Klonopin, so it was more like an upper/downer combo. Very effective, but my pdoc would not prescribe more than 30mg.
Marplan: Lowered my blood pressure. That was about the only effect I noticed. I took 30mg.
Moclobemide: Gave me insomnia at first, but after that nothing; no effect at all.
Oral Selegiline (active ingredient in EMSAM patch): Made me feel 'raw' and overexposed somehow. Did not seem to lift my mood. I took 10mg.
I'm thinking about trying Nardil for its anxiolytic effect. Nardil and Parnate are generally considered the most effective MAOIs.
