I Live in France but I was born and grew up in the UK.
To be honest the reason I found your question is because I search the word Etifoxine on Google and your post came up.
But the first 24 hours have been fine Ed, I did start the previous day in a big mess so I think a placebo, a cup tea and a few quite minutes would have helped me.
I feel calm, not drowsy and not euphoric or lightheaded.
They seem to be the most frequently prescribed medicine for Stress and anxiety in France at the moment.
