Amounts less than one ounce (28.3 grams) are generally a misdemeanor. Simple possession
is often a ticket. At least here in the states.
Check your local/state laws but small amounts of
pot are minor misdemeanors. Where I live if the cops catch you with a small amount of pot they just make you flush it or otherwise throw it out.I think the same is true in the UK, small amounts of pot are minor offences.
Growing pot from personal use presents all kinds of legal issues so be careful.
