But how is depression diagnosed this days?

WTF?

If people don't think about their problems for longer than 2 weeks, there is something wrong.

In addition, I'm not saying you need to have a reason to be depressed. Life and stress are reasons enough.

Stress is likely the number 1 cause of depression.
