If you had a tonic clonic seizure, then you very very likely would have lost consciousness.
However, the symptoms you describe may have been a partial seizure.
A neurological work up may be in order.
Additionally, I would have a complete cardiac work up. So many anxiety symptoms actually have their organic origin in the heart and not the brain - mitral valve prolapse, irregular heart rhythm all can cause anxiety and so often go undiagnosed.
I'm sorry you had to endure this, but thank goodness that the ER staff was responsive to you.
