I have been suffering from severe depression for along time and just got back from a very cutting edge clinic that do all kinds of new tests I have never heard of.. but time and time again the physiological things that kept popping up was signs of inflammation in my body.
Immune system was screwed up, amount of oxygen getting in my tissues and brain was way low, all of this due to inflammation, supposedly. Uh, they didn;t really give me an answer of why there was inflammation , but it begs the question : What came first the inflammation causing the depression or vice versa ??
Of course I like to think the inflammation caused the depression ... that makes it more physical, thus maybe other people out there could be a littl emore understanding and acceptable.. but then again who gives a sh&* as long as all of us could get to feeling better.
Anyway, on the alternative board we were talking about glutathione and depression , its pretty interesting stuff.. it has lots of effects on inflammation, immune system etc.. check it out over there..
