Intravenous antibiotics are not without their pitfalls, to say the least. There are other antibiotics out there, including oral ones, if this is indeed a true positive. However that is up to your ID specialist.
I'm sorry you have had this diagnosis.
I assume you had the Lyme IgM and IgG titers =before= you had the Western Blot.
