you're most welcome, Dragoon.

I'm taking 300mg seroquel not for psychosis (I'm not psychotic) but mainly for intrusive thoughts and flashbacks related to earlier chronic trauma.

Seroquel is getting quite the buzz on the boards lately becuase it's now approved to treat bipolar mania, bipolar depression, as well as psychosis.

I'm trying not to think of myself as a crazy cuckoo, which someone might automatically assume, when finding out that I'm taking hundreds of mg of seroquel, an "antipsychotic"

I prefer to think of myself as
Her Royal Highness, Princess of Polypsychopharmacy, Lindenblüte.

I hope that the modafinil does the trick for you. It's supposed to be especially good stimulant because it doesn't disrupt sleep as much as the amphetamine-type stimulants. I certainly find that it has far fewer of the jittery heart-palpitation type feelings than when I took diet pills or ephedra (back in the day!)

maybe time to find a new pdoc, or perhaps you need to tell your GP that you suffer from sleep apnea or narcolepsy or something like that.
