They were doing CYA, otherwise known in the medical license scene as Cover Your ***, and distancing from a controversy. It was resolved, and the distributors were sanctioned to the best of my knowledge. Its irrelevant now because it is generic anyhow and has been for a while and has at least two regular generic suppliers.
