That's about 10mg of Valium -- you could even convert your entire dosage to Valium in a 24 hour period and reduce from Valium instead. But its not a large dose of benzodiazepine by any means. Usually about 10+% per week or less if you can't stand it. Only suggesting converting to Valium because then you don't have to worry about short half lives and the double withdrawal between the two times you take the Xanax (which is sometimes actually taken 4 times a day.)
