In reply to Requip! Is it Similar to Amisulpride?, posted by Pluto on September 10, 2006, at 5:13:35
If the other dopamine agonists made you more depressed then requip probably will too. It does basically the same thing as the others you've tried. It might work out, but the odds don't sound good to me.
Even though amisulpride is not available in the usa, you can get it from mailorder international pharmacies without a prescription. It is against policy at pbabble to give out non-FDA sources. Do a google search for "buy amisulpride" or similar. If no luck with amisulpride, try its other names such as solian or deniban. I know for sure there are at least 2 reputable sources, one of them I have dealt with reliably.
Another option is to stock up a large supply.
Amisulpride is unique and from what I've heard the only thing that might come close to it is low dose risperdal.
My pdoc in the usa has had several good comments from patients about amisulpride and he is disturbed that it is not an FDA medication. Except for the sexual side effects, it was probably the best med on the planet I've ever tried.
