I had elevated liver enzymes with Cymbalta and was taking no other meds. I don't drink either. I had to go to the ER and over this and they took me off Cymbalta right away. First day the liver test started to go down and it took about 3 weeks to get totally back to my baseline liver fuction test and normal. Since that time, I have to be very careful about my liver when trying meds. They suspect Cymbalta caused damage. It was not long after they reported my live problems with Cymbalta to the FDA (Medwatch) that the drug company came out with the liver warning.
