I was started at 150mg twice a day and, you're right, starting at a lower dose would've lessened the side effects but I wouldn't have enjoyed the immediate benefits. After 5-6 weeks of this dose, the druggy side effect has in the last couple of days decreased to almost zero. So, one way or the other, some patience is helpful. Be well.
