(i have made several requests, all of which there is no response, something the clerk said just doesn't happen.)

First of all, it sounds as though you haven't found a T who fits you. That doesn't mean that there aren't any -- it just means that you haven't found the right one yet.

Also, how long have you seen any one T? Are you saying that after, say, three months they still won't say anything to you about maladaptive behaviors? Or is this in the first few sessions? And are you looking for the T to tell you what your maladaptive behaviors are? Or are you working with a T to discover them for yourself, with guidance?

And it sounds as though you're saying you wanted to see your medical records, but they wouldn't provide access to them? If so, if you are in the US, check with your state's department of health. There are laws governing access to medical records, including mental health records. In CA, at least, the law says that patients have the right to see their mental health records, but that doctors can deny the request if it would be detrimental to their health. But they still have to do something to inform you of that, and you can still have the records sent on to another mental health professional, who can't show them to you, but can talk to you about what's in them.

Actually, I am sorry to say that it still sounds as though you're seeing all this through a filter of depression. I know you said that you have NPD rather than depression, but it sure sounds like depression to me. That's not saying that there's something wrong with you, by the way. I have depression, and I am currently pretty seriously depressed. I can empathize with you, but I can also look at what you've written and say, "Hm... that sounds more like depression than reality to me... Maybe this guy oughta look into finding another doctor, one who'll treat him with respect..."

Good luck.
