Since I have written that thread, I have started Buspar. I have done a 180 degree turn around. The anxiety, anger, irritability, is as close to gone as it could get. I feel so at ease.I personally do not think counseling would help me. I feel this way....I am Bipolar II. That means I am not like the majority in the brain. Therefore, talking to someone is not going to help or correct my genetic make up. I think a person benefits when they have had a tough life or a difficult situation in there life has come up, but when something is not right in the head, talking is not going to do it. At least not for me. That is just my point of view.
If you think it would help you in your situation, then you most certainly neet to do that. Every single one of us are so different in many ways.
I can tell that my son it much happier, and his behavior has improved just because I am so much more at ease. Poor little guy, I wish he wasnt effected by my illness. I wish it was just me, not him.
Thanks,
Frizzal
