Phillipa, I don't know the first signs of Stevens Johnson. I think it starts with rashes and bumps.
Question for you though...I'm curious for an update on how you are doing. Is there any anti-anxiety so far with lamictal?
I experienced quite an increase of my anxiety with it, even with just 6mg and 12.5mg, along with pretty bad leg cramps. Weird though, it has good antidepressant effects on the first day I take it, even at just 6mg, and then it feels lousy the second, but if I stop it, it feels good again the first day I stop it. Maybe I might do it every other day and see what happens. I know 6mg sound ridiculous, but there is at least one other person I've heard of that said that was the best dose for them.
I thought lamictal was not supposed to have sexual side effects. It definitely does for me.
Anyway, how is lamictal going for you?
