Re: SEROQUEL versus ZYPREXA?

Seroquel was way too stupifying and sedating for me. It also didn't last long enough. I had to take it every 3 hours because the anti-anxiety wore off too fast. Zyprexa is not that sedating and lasts a lot longer, needing only one dose a day though sometimes two is better.

Seroquel made me feel very depressed and lousy the next day. Dysphoric. While seroquel was depressing, zyprexa seems to be a mild antidepressant.

Seroquel gave me restless legs syndrome.

Zyprexa makes my hands jitter a little bit like parkinson's, but only after 12 hours since my last dose. If my hands are jittery, they calm down to perfectly still after a dose.

Clozapine is supposed to be the gold standard of antipsychotics and zyprexa is the closest thing to it. I consider seroquel to be just a super strong short acting version of remeron.
