hi Everyone,
Does anyone know how much heat can spoil pain meds, specifically oxycontin?
Please, Ed or anyone having any ideas whether they will work ok.
i'm in so much pain- having surgery soon- probably next month for PNE. Now i have to take meds for pain but i'm so disorganized/busy that i forgot to schedule my dr's appt in enough time and now have to resort to taking meds that were left in the trunk of a hot car last summer:(My pain is so bad that i can't go more than 7 hrs without a dose and take breakthough oxycodone also. The breakthrough meds don't really help that much, i only have to get through 2-3 days with the old meds.
Maybe i should try taking one of the old tabs with two of the fresh meds next doses so at least it's mixed with fresh medicine and will partly work.
i wish i didn't wait too long.. Anyways- does oxycontin ER go bad easily?
i guess i'll find out anyways. in an emergency i'll have to try to contact dr. i can't live with the pain at all. i hate to have to do that.
i hope the medicine is ok.
