It can't hurt - it took about 5 weeks, but I got a free 3 mos. supply of the 6mg, with approval for 11 mos. if it is working for me. After that I don't know, but one day at a time. I have been cutting in half for a week, but today I stuck on the full patch. I am still optimistic, but guarded. Richard
