EMSAM is approved without food restrictions at the 20mg patch dose. I eat everything I want and have without issue. I just don't pay attention to it. My doctor said to eat what I want, I do. I have certainly eaten foods and drank things that would be a no no on a typical MAOI diet.This was one of the reasons I held out for the EMSAM approval vs trying other MAOI's (though if it didn't get approved I planned on trying Nardil). That said, you DO need to watch for drug interactions and need to avoid things like over the counter cold remedies. Rob
